I've often been asked whether or not I offer mini sessions and I've always firmly said no. I feel like you just can't get the experience that I want to give you in a rushed 15-20 minute format. I just can't operate that way! We're just getting to know each other!

But, I feel like I have come up with a solution to please my clients and fulfill my need for more time.

Introducing, The Forty Five.

A ultra-limited edition hybrid mini session offering. In fact, it's exactly half the time of the original 90 minute Storytelling Session, henceforth the name, The Forty Five.

These sessions are an alternative to the rushed 10 minute run of the mill mini session. These are organic, honest, and meaningful. These make your heart sing!

And what's better? You have your choice as to whether you want your session in the comfort of (or around) your home or at the beach. Truly, it's the best of both worlds.

Why choose the forty five?

As I said above, I think this is the best of both worlds. This combines my signature long-format documentary-esque style of photography with the convenience of a mini session. This is the perfect way to dip your toes into the honest and unposed realm of family photography if you're not ready to take the full plunge off the high dive. If you want something different and meaningful, this is for you. You know those pictures that you look at and you kind of sigh and your heart kind of breaks a little and you're sitting there thinking "Yes, this is them. This looks like them. This IS them." That's what we're aiming for here...not "Oh that's cute."

The Forty Five is meant to be comfortable. There's no need to wrangle kids (especially if you choose to do it at home, which you know holds a super soft spot in my heart!!) and there's no need to bribe them to sit and say cheese. We're not about that life. We want them to run and have fun, to do what they feel led to do. That's where the magic happens!

Also, I'm reserving a few minutes at the end of the session for a handful of loosely posed family portraits.

what's included?

This session includes 45 minutes of my time and talent at the session with a gallery of 10-20 high resolution, fully processed images in an online, password protected gallery. You're able to download and print these photographs at your convenience. Helpful Hint: Framed prints, albums, and wall art make the best, most thoughtful gifts ever!!

How do I book?

Booking is pretty easy and straightforward. Send me a message here and I'll send you available time slots. Morning sessions are reserved for those folks who'd like their session at home and afternoon/early evening slots are for those who'd like theirs at the beach. Email me back with your selection.

Sessions are first come, first serve.

Sessions are not considered booked until I have a signed contract and a retainer payment. Also, payment plans are available, just ask.
